New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady showed a random act of kindness at the Audi Best Buddies charity [1], a cycling challenge that raises money for Best Buddies International [2], an organization that helps those with intellectual disabilities by promoting friendships and integrated employment. The NY Daily News reports that founder Anthony Kennedy Shriver challenged the crowd to raise $50,000 in two minutes. Brady grabbed the mic and rallied $26,000, and pledged to pay the remaining $24,000 on his own.

Was Tom just trying to impress his supermodel girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen? No matter. Cheers to Tom for getting super passionate about a cause.
