What could New England Patriots QB Tom Brady [1] possibly have in common with Bob Saget [2] (you know, the dad from Full House)? The two are best buddies! Well, sort of.
Founded in 1989, Best Buddies [3] is a nonprofit organization that creates a safe space for the intellectually disabled to make friends, find jobs, and develop leadership skills. Brady is the honorary chairman of Best Buddies’ annual fundraiser, the Audi Best Buddies Challenge [4] – a 100-mile charity walk, run and ride. Over the weekend, celebs like Saget and Verne Troyer joined the QB for some friendly competition, and by the end, they raised $4 million in donations!
