Would You Shave Your Head For This? @kelliepickler Did

Country music star Kellie Pickler is sporting a new badass ‘do that has caused quite the stir. And no it’s not a media ploy.

The former American Idol contestant shaved off her wavy blonde locks in the name of friendship and cancer awareness. (We couldn't love this more.)

Supporting her close friend Summer Miller, who is battling breast cancer, Pickler welcomed this hairless look. Miller, 35, is getting ready to start chemo treatments. 

“Cancer does not discriminate,” Pickler, 26, told ABC News. “If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it,” Miller added.
