The Problem

Local families in need not being able to afford presents for their family over the holiday break or even food during the break.

Plan of Action

Connect with local elementary schools as well as my school counselor to find families who are in need and could benefit from donations over the break. Raise awareness at my school with posters and promote having students and staff "adopt" a member of one of the families to buy holiday presents for. I will also have a food drive at my school in order to provide food for the families. I will also contact local Christmas tree farms and explain the project and ask for donations of Christmas trees.
