Always Ready Kids (ARK)

Let's face it, the world is changing, and not all for the better. Twenty years ago no one would have anticipated the school shootings, terrorist attacks, and mall massacres that now plague our society. Consequently, all 303,116,572 people in the U.S. must become prepared for disasters. Preparedness saves lives. Always Ready Kids is a youth run organization that helps prepare youth and their families for disasters. We do this by conducting safety-related projects, such as speaking to kids about how to prepare for disasters; handing out safety pamphlets; and distributing safety packets that include basic preparedness items. We also raise funds for disaster relief efforts. So far we have helped thousands of citizens prepare for disasters and raised nearly $20,000 for relief efforts.
