Artists Reaching to Seniors/Students (ARTS)

 ARTS aims to spread the spirit of the arts to seniors in nursing homes and students in underresourced elementary schools.  As an arts troupe comprised of high schoolers across Palm Beach County, it holds variety shows with music, dance, and theater performances.  In addition, ARTS also sponsors a week-long camp each summer for urban elementary school youth.  The camp is an arts immersion for the students, allowing them to experience all facets of the arts in classes taught by high school volunteers who have received formal training in those fields.  To date, ARTS has reached more than 1000 seniors and students in the Palm Beach County area, spreading the spirit of the arts to those who would otherwise not have access to such creative forms of expression.
