Be Bold, Be Bald! for Cancer

The Problem

Fighting cancer requires a tremendous amount of bravery and strength. However, due to hair loss, many people believe cancer patients are weak. They are anything but weak. We are on a mission to honor the bravery and strength of those who battle cancer, and raise money to help them fight back.

Plan of Action

On October 18, 2013, people across the nation will be wearing bald caps (or shaving their heads) to honor those who battle cancer, and getting sponsored by others for their bold move. Upon signing up, participants choose the charity that they want their proceeds to benefit (more than 40 options to choose from) and get access to a range of fundraising tools including a personal/team fundraising page. Bald caps and other items are also available on the website.
