Constructing Hope is just in its beginning stages with filling out paperwork, getting certification, and gathering interest. Constructing hope works with teens and young adults that do not wish to persue a college education but still need job training skills to enter into the workforce. These 'interns' work with Constructing Hope to fix homes in the community that desperately need working on. These homes range from the elderly that need wheelchair ramps to children that need their rooms sanitized right down to enstalling appliances. All of these things will help train the interns in construction related fields while improving the quality of their community. Those recieving the help are overjoyed that there is now help availible in the community as well as active involvement from the area youth. With this program everyone benefits.
