The Lakota, Dakota & Nakota Sioux people who make up the Crow Creek Sioux tribe are hard working, determined people. They have survived despite every effort to disappear them as a culture & a people. They are the survivors of a forced removal from their lands in Minnesota in the 1800s by President Lincoln. They strive to educate their children despite the delapidated buildings that house their educational system. They strive to move on, despite the continued inroads into their land by various government agencies that justify the stripping of their land under the justification of "national security" or other justications to take what little they have left.
