First we went to adults in our school and informed them of what we wanted to do. Next we contacted the local rescue mission to let them know what we were doing and to make arrangements to take the items there. Next we got all the supplies we needed, such as, boxes, poster board, etc. After this we started to get our school informed, by hanging posters, putting what we are doing into our schools daily announcements and creating competitions to get more motivation into the students at our school. Now we have 2 weeks to reach our goal of collecting 500 non-perishable food items to give to our towns local rescue mission.
