The Problem

Often times when I volunteer with my youth volunteer group, there aren't enough members present to do everything the volunteer coordinator needs us to do. This is due to the fact that too many people sleep in late on Saturday mornings rather than begin their day early and right by volunteering.

Plan of Action

My goal is to recruit more people to volunteer at least once every two weeks at local non-profit organizations, such as North Texas Food Bank or For the Love of the Lake. As president of a local volunteer group, High School Humanitarians, I understand the importance of giving back and encourage everyone to get out and help their communities. You not only enjoy yourself while doing so, but you also learn the importance of giving back to those who need it.
