The Problem

The Engeye Teen Connection has initiated a campaign to bring clear water to a village primary school and families in rural Uganda in partnership with the Engeye Scholars Program. Having clean, accessible water is invaluable to a thriving school community. The goal of the campaign is to raise the necessary funds to fund the drilling of wells, repair water pumps and other related projects, which would help supply students and villagers with clean, safe water sources. ETC hopes to raise $10,000.00 by March 22, 2013, which is World Water Day. ETC will also continue to fundraiser beyond that date to bring clean water to the village.

Plan of Action

Raise the funds necessary to to drill a well and provide a pump for clean water for children at a rural primary school in Uganda and then expand the efforts to bring clean water to the surrounding community.
