Our team leaders, group members, and I got together once or twice a week during school for appriximately four months to sort out our daily activities, fundraisers, and projects we'd be doing to reach our goal of providing these families with what they needed. As we reached the Phillipines, everyday we had to work 8-10 hours building and on top of that, traveling to different school's and supplying materials and clothing for the students. Also, we had to raise money in order to provide for that small village in Cebu a well for fresh water. We were able to raise several money in order to build the well and provide toys and clothes to their children. Seeing those families and students' faces as we were able to provide them their needs, seeing their faces and attitude completely change from hopeless to hope told me that I had made an impact and difference by giving them what they've been wishing for their whole life. My group members and I changed their lives from there on out and I will forever remember that.
