Harlem Globetrotters and Itz 4 Kidz By Kidz to discuss Volunteering and Anti Bully

The Problem

The Harlem Globetrotters go all over the world and is known for their dramatic Basketball skills -they have asked Itz 4 Kidz by Kidz to help bring a message to Houston to say no to bullying. They teach the ABC's against Bullying and afterwards Victoria Lopez tells the kids off camera how they can volunteer and make a difference. It doesn't have to cost any money and it can be fun in the process.

Plan of Action

Harlem Globetrotters asked Itz 4 Kidz By Kidz to help with anti-bullying Campaign. Victoria interviewed several schools for Anti Bullying and Chose Pershing , St. Mary's, and Mark Twain to represent Houston on TV. The Students made signs to show why their schools do not support Bullying and we also had students represent the Latino community. TSU/TV, Houston Chronicle covered the story from the volunteer perspective. The kids formed their own questions to ask the Globe Trotters and brought one can each to help with the Tackle Hunger initative in Texas.
