The Problem

Over the last 20 years, the people of Uganda have been facing, poverty, displacement, aids and child abductions. A group known as the Rebel Army is primarily responsible for the children being torn from their families and forced to fight and abduct other children, along with the increased amount of displaced families. Upon hearing about this and what it was doing to the people of Uganda, a group known as Invisible Children stepped in and decided to make a difference. Offering teens across the country a chance to make a difference in their world, IC is rapidly growing and generating waves of change in Uganda and in the hearts of American students through their schools for schools program. Greenway High School's IC club is part of the change. We're constantly trying to develop new and improved methods of helping the children of Uganda regain their lives.
