LIFE- Living Intentionally For Eternity Vision: Educate youth on social issues to empower them to be active citizens glocaly (globally and locally) Mission: Provide opportunities for students on their breaks to bring justice to social issues that effect us glocaly through education, advocacy, fundraising and serving. LIFE are week long overnight conferences that house youth to be informed on social injustice. They will attend breakout sessions to educate on numerous issues. The breakout sessions also include how to raise funds, learn to bring awareness through advocacy, Guest Speakers from NPOs and NGOs and government officials, as well as connecting it to service. Students will spend a week learning about an issue that will be followed by a fundraising event, a local service project and an out of city service project that will capitalize the students knowledge by being "hands on" with the issue. LIFE is a "life" changing event that gives youth the opportunity to use their breaks from school to be active citizens on a glocal level.
