The Problem

Our mission is to bring music into the lives of people who are not fortunate enough to know its power. As a musician, I have known first-hand how magical the presence of music can be in one's life. When the complications and distractions of life start to interfere with my life, music is my solace from all these obstacles. I'll simply play, write, or listen to music, and my troubles somehow seem to vanish instantly. I believe that music is one of the most universal ways of communicating with each other, so what's stopping everyone from connecting through it? We want to create unity, strength, and balance through listening, playing, and simply being around music.

Plan of Action

Our plan of action is to start with influencing children who are struggling with heavy burdens in their lives. We are a group of high school musicians that will go around to various children's hospitals, orphanages, homeless shelters, etc. and give the children a taste of how much music has changed our lives, and hopefully shine a light into their lives as to how important music can truly be in theirs, as well. We will do this by playing music for the children, putting instruments in their hands, letting them get a feel for the music, and play along with some of the music that we play! Along the way, we'll also teach them various things about music, and more specifics of what to play.
