The Perfect Revolution

Low self-esteem is a real problem that is not talked about enough. Young people everywhere are constantly bombarded with the idea that they are not good enough and sadly, they begin to believe it. It is a shame that something as preventable as suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among adolescents and that 80% of children who are 10 years old are afraid of being fat. It is heartbreaking that 6 in 10 girls stop doing what they love because they feel badly about their appearance and that millions of people of all ages and genders suffer from eating disorders. We need to change these realities and that means that we need to change how people think of "perfection."
