Rebuild New Orleans

A small group of students and friends are working toward traveling to New Orleans. We want to help rebuild homes for people who lost them during Hurricane Katrina. We plan to work with a group called Katrina Corps. So far we have raised a little bit of money to pay for some of the expenses. We will be constructing a new house for someone who lost their home in the hurricane. Also we will spend some of the time painting schools in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina was one of the most devasting hurrricanes of all time. And we all feel that the situation was not handled as greatly as it could have been handled.We will like to go to New Orleans to be apart of the reconstruction of the city.
