Smoke is not your friend so lets find better ones

Some kids are getting introduced to smoking in the wrong way! Have you ever seen a movie of people who are not supposed to be smoking, smoke? For example, in chorus class one day, we saw the Newsies. In the Newsies, the news paper boys boys were smoking old cigarettes (in a scene of the movie)which are not any less dangerous as they are now. Of course back then, they did not know smoking was bad for you, but I didn't realize that till someone told me, in which I was shocked that the paper boys were smoking. Most kids were shocked too except for one or two. There were about 15 kids in the class and only one or two knew that back then, they did not know smoking was bad so they let anyone do it. If 2 out of 15 kids knew, then the rest probably took it the wrong way. Could this mean that they think they can smoke at that age too? The boys in the Newsies were in middle school- high school which could teach kids to do the same. I am not saying I am against that movie, though I am afraid that kids are being introduced to it the wrong way. I know parents and teachers taught us all not to do it, but what are movies teaching?
