SonShine Food Pantry & Clothing Closet

We have 2 Girl Scouts in our church that spent two years working on starting a Food Pantry & Clothing Closet for the needy in our church as their Gold Award Project. They give away food and clothing, bedding, dishes, and hygiene items to the needy. In the 5 months that they have been operating, they have helped over 150 families in our community. Our church helps to fund their project, but we only have 30 church members, and we are finding it hard to keep up with the demand for food assistance in our community. We are in need of donations and grants to help us keep the doors open and keep helping the needy.
