Join us in making substantive change." ~from www.darfurstoves.org Welcome to Students For Stoves (SFS), a student-led initiative centered in Upper Arlington, Ohio formed to raise funds for the Darfur Stoves Project. My name is Diana Tsai, and I am currently planning a door-to-door fundraiser in my community on August 15. The money we raise will be going directly to the Darfur Stoves Project for the following purposes: * Development of workshops in Darfur where the stoves are built, including the rent, tools and equipment. * Cost of training local Darfurians in the production of the stoves. * Cost of sending highly skilled engineers into the field for workshop setup, training and QC. * Cost of the supplies and inventory to produce the stoves.
