The Problem

We ran a Tackle Hunger can food drive at my high school because it was a very easy way to get the whole school involved in a service project and we were really interested in the Do Something campaign.

Plan of Action

We made it a competition between grades so whenever someone brought in items we noted how many and which grade they were in. The grade that brings in the most cans gets to pick a charity to donate prize money to. Then we encouraged teachers to give extra credit to students who participated and the National Honor Society and Student Council also got extremely involved. We ended up collecting 662 items.
