The Problem

We started a club for teenagers with disabilities to get together with our friends, classmates or other teenagers even if they don't have a disability. We started this club because there is no way for us to get together with other teenagers. There are only programs for adults 18 to 80. We get together to go to the movies, go dancing, go to restaurants and now we are trying to find a place to meet whenever we want to. We want to take over night trips with other teenagers, too like Washington, D.C. where we could talk to Congress about what people with disabilities need. We want to meet more than once a month and do activities like helping out at a shelter kitchen or helping build houses for poor people.
