TOMcat Animal Rescue

TOMcat Animal Rescue is an all volunteer organization, based in CT, that rescues stray, abandoned, and abused animals. Animals are given needed medical treatment and cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted out into their forever homes. By having foster homes instead of a shelter, we are able to really get to know each animal’s personality and make a good match with their new family. TOMcat Animal Rescue specializes in kitten rescue but helps all animals whenever possible. We serve Plainville and the surrounding communities. TOMcat Animal Rescue helps homeowners and neighborhoods with TNR (trap-neuter-return) for feral cats. This includes trapping, transportation to/from clinic, building winter shelters, and food assistance. We also provide virtual rescue services through courtesy posting and screening for pet owners needing to rehome their animals.
