The Problem

National Public Lands Day Saturday, September 29th 9am to 1pm Location: TBA Looking for a way to make a difference in the health of Sacramento's environment? This is the project for you! One out of every three acres of America's land - 600 million acres - is public land. Lands to hike, bike, climb, swim, explore or just plain relax. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy. Last year nearly 80,000 volunteers participated. This year, celebrate this special day by caring for some of our native trees. Volunteers will prune, mulch and water oak trees and do seed collection. We need lots of volunteers to make this a success! To get involved please email Meredith King at meredith@sactree.com or call (916) 924-8733 x122 If you would like to see other events with the Sacramento Tree Foundation please visit our Calendar of Events at http://www.sactree.com/getInvolved/calendarOfEvents.html
