The Problem

Nearly 80,000 teenagers and young adults in the United States have struggled with mental illness in the past year. Almost all of them will not be able to find professional health due to cost, school program cuts, and overall accessibility.

Plan of Action

We plan on registering as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to raise funds to eventually help expand mental health programs in school districts and universities (nearly all public schools in the Philadelphia area don't even have a councilor.) We also hope to spread awareness of mental health conditions and help eliminate the negative stigma that comes along with therapy and having a mental illness. Currently we are in meetings with the student advocacy at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania to help implement a better mental health program.
