Julie thinks childhood obesity is one of the biggest issues our society is facing today. Her program will be after school and will be designed to teach children ages 8-11 the importance of nutrition and physical exercise. A two hour session each day will allow an hour for a nutrition lesson followed by an hour for physical exercise. Physical exercise will include games such as tag, kickball, swimming and soccer. This program will focus on maintaining a non-competitive fun atmosphere and increasing childrenÃ¢Â€Â™s self esteem.
