The Problem

Sarah is one of the youngest members of an organization that fights for the rights of disabled people in the US. After joining this group, Sarah wanted to enlighten other young people about why its so important to become involved in fighting for their rights as disabled people. The Youth Summit will help her cause. The participants will learn about the history of organizing for disability rights in ADAPT, effective advocacy techniques, and participate in a cross-generational dialogue with older members of the ADAPT community.
