Help feed the Hungry

There are many people hungry on Long Island. I'd like to help Long Island Cares: The Harry Chapin Food Bank. I would like to set up a large empty jar in the staff lounge to collect spare change. I would form a small committee of children to recycle a soda can and distribute to every classroom and office at our school. All of the money will be donated to Long Island Cares to help feed the people in need. It is very important for our school age children that there are children just like them but go to bed hungry. Every little bit will help.
