REBELARTE The REBELARTE campaign is a program within Land and Freedom Organization. This campaign focuses on promoting art that is positive, culturally conscious, and that addresses not only the problems and obstacles we face, but also the solutions necessary to change the conditions that prevent us from moving forward. Art comes in many forms: Hip-Hop music, painting, poetry, storytelling, and many other forms of expression. The purpose of this campaign is to build towards a safe and healthy community free of drugs, alcohol, and violence; and to create a culture where youth, adults and elders can live together and enjoy the art that comes from our community. Goals/work to be done by “REBELARTE”: -organize events (including outreach and planning). -develop the campaign internally and externally. -promote pride, culture throughout our community. -recruit youth and families into the program through art.
