The Problem

Boxing gym for at risk youth ages 8 to 18 in school all students must maintain a passing average grade in there school to be eligible to train in this program. Students will receive training in boxing and kickboxing from certified USA boxing instructor and former professional blackbelt kickboxer. Students will get homework support for the school work to help maintain eligibility in the program students will be able to choose a competitive or non-competitive training program. The Books and Boxing program is designed to provide today’s youth with community centered activities that help at risk youth in Montgomery County deal with the daily stresses and life experiences in a positive manner. Books and Boxing is focused on the growing need to promote the physical, mental, spiritual and academic well being to the youth in our communities.
