The Problem

Nearly one billion people around the world don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. Women & children have to walk for miles to get water that isn't even clean and could make them sick or even kill them. They spend so much time walking for water that some can't work or go to school. Every day we use water & never even think about it--to brush our teeth, to flush the toilet, to take a shower, to wash fruits and vegetables... There are people in the world drinking water that we wouldn't even use to wash our car or give our dog a bath. We need to help them.

Plan of Action

This September, charity: water launched their 5 year birthday campaign. Their goal is to raise enough money to fund a drilling rig that will drill 80 wells a year and bring clean water to 40,000 in Ethiopia. I've created a fundraising campaign for kids & here's my goal: 100 kids raising $100 for clean water.
