Children unfortunately can get cancer. During chemotherapy treatments and recovery children suffer pain and hair loss. Often times the last thing on a parent/caregivers mind is a warm new hat to provide to their child. I formed a volunteer team to increase community awareness about pediatric cancer/the cure and generate donated new "child friendly" hats to help children's recovery process. "Tiny Hat Keep Me Warm"
Plan of Action
I have formed a team of friends that are participating in the 4th Annual Mad Hatter Day in my community. I currently have team members asking for donations from local retail stores, family, friends and neighbors.
