A Mid-Summer Nights Dream

the problem:
The arts are a major thing to our youth but not as assessible as we would like. A mid summer nights dream is a concert in the park, at night, to award scholorships to less fortunate students who want to pursue a career in the arts.

I know that I would not have had the money to go an explore the arts as I would have like if it werent forbeing excepted to LaGuardia High School. Vocal lessons, piano less etc are not cheap and not available to
the plan of action:
Write letters to mant different schools and leading dance companies, magazines etc.
how you can get involved:
by coming out and suporting the fundraiser. Also by soliciting their local arts facilities in helping out the less fortnate.

This sounds like a really great idea but I think you need to expand on it a bit more so that you can really put it into action. For example, what is the end goal of this project? Is it to put on a show or to provide these kids with scholarships? How will you get the money for these scholarships? Will you sell the tickets to your shows or solicit donations?
Just some things to think about! I think once you get some of these questions figured out and put together a proposal, you should really try applying for a Do Something grant to get yourself started. Learn more about the grants here:
