A Penny for Warm Thoughts

the problem:
This project is a two part project. The main goal is to donate over 200 blankets to Project Linus, a not-for-profit organization that takes blankets and gives them to children in hospitals and shelters. We had to find a way to raise money for material, so we held a penny drive at the local middle school and high school. Then with the money, we bought material to make no-sew blankets. We then made the blankets with the local elementary kids. The blankets were then donated to the local Project Linus chapter where they were accepted with great joy.
