My parent came to the united states whhen they were my age, 17 years old. All my life I have been told that I would be the one to rise above and to make my parents proud and have a happy, stable life. They want what every parent wants for thier child. Unfortunaly, financialy, attending college will be an issue. I am extremly involved in leadership roles as well as being a passionate in several organizations such as Save Darfur & LULAC. During my short lifetime, I have seen my parents struggle, I have seen a woman being abused, a have felt a deeper calling in my heart to make a difference in the lifes of others. In doing this, in fofilling MY dream, I want to attend school to become a doctor to help those who cannot help themselves.
