Activism Club on Campus
the problem:
I am trying to bring awareness about many different things to a community that is plagued by violence and poverty. I am hoping that by bringing awareness on many different political topics that the community can cut down on the violence and poverty. I am also hoping that by educating the poor about such topics that we can help raise the community standards of living and by doing that we can cut down on the gange violence and bullying and the poverty.

1why it's important:
This is extremely important to me because I live in a community that is plagued by gang violence and gang bullying. When you live in a community like that you live in fear everyday of your life. I want to change that because living like that is not acceptable. By changing the community from being okay with the violence, we can help curb the amount of violence that is exhibited each day. It is a proven fact that with education comes a higher standard of living. And with the higher standard of living comes less violence.
the plan of action:
Well I am hoping to start a club on my college campus. First we can raise awareness that way and build our way up to making it a whole community campaign. Although there are some programs around to help the situation our community it is in, there is not enough being done. there is alot more thought that has to go into this project though.
