The Problem
We visit Timberlake Nursing and Rehab right behind the bank by Elijah's cafe every other Sunday from four to five pm. We play guitar, sing, read, and visit with the residents! It is a lot of fun and we have continued this throughout the summer. Remaining visits for the summer are on July 19th, August 2nd, August 16th, and August 30th!
Why It's Important
We visit every other week. We are now visiting the actual nursing home located behind elijahs instead of the assisted living home.
The Plan Of Action
Every time we visit the residents their day is a little brighter. They like to tell us stories, adventures from their lives and childhood, and we do activities with them.
How Can Others Get Involved?
If you are intersted in visiting Timberlake Health and Rehab with our group contact Charlotte O'Brien.

this sounds totaly fabulous. I want to start doing it.
do you think that maybe instead of elderly people you could do this with other people or animals? maybe go visit animals that are at a pound, or maybe some kids that have mental issues? you know what i mean?
