The Problem

Highway trash is a huge problem to then environment and a great eye sore to our community. By participating in the adopt a highway program we can improve the quality and aesthetics of our beautiful state.

Plan of Action

Pick a Highway is a one-time litter picking activity on an assigned segment of state highway. Mn/DOT will provide the bags, vests, training, and bag retrieval. You contribute approximately four hours of labor. Or we could choose the two year option where we adopt a highway by picking up litter on both sides for at least two years.
