After School Choir

the problem:

The music department at our school is low on money. This project is meant to make money so our music groups can have more fun experiences and go places that would be too expensive without extra help. Being a senior I will not benefit from the money but I know that everyone next year will appreciate any money that we can make whether it's spent on more supplies, better trips, or used as scholorship money.

vital stats:

people impacted:

80

people involved:

20

why it's important:

This is important to me because there are certain things music groups would like to do and like to be a part of but can't because of money. It's always fun to go to do new things and meet new people in a musical setting.

the plan of action:

I plan to hold an afterschool club once or twice a week where I will hold an hour choir rehearsal. I plan to take this choir to many performances and gigs in order to raise money. We will also hold concerts every quarter.

how you can get involved:

Others can help simply by joining the choir or supporting me in my efforts. This is not an easy task for a kid who has little conducting experience. I just hope that eveyrone is cooperative and does thier best to just have fun.
