The Problem
To help microfinance entrepreneurs connect to the global market and to help Kiva.org receive another source of funding.
Why It's Important
As a Kiva fellow I fell in love with Kiva and microfinance. Microfinance is an essential tool to help alleviate poverty, because it provides the poor with an opportunity. However, microfinance entrepreneurs need people to buy their goods so that their business can take off. Ahkun.org hopes to help provide this opportunity t
The Plan Of Action
I have developed a website (ahkun.org) that will have profiles of entrepreneurs who have received microloans that were funded by Kiva.org. We will sell their good globally and proceeds will go to Kiva.org and the microfinance institution that financed the microloan of that entrepreneur.
