The Problem

Due to budget cuts, the Crawford County Special Olympics (in Northwestern PA) has faced a dramatic loss of funding for running their programs. These programs serve 350 participants and their families and without them these athletes will lose opportunities to compete in a safe environment, learn valuable social skills, challenge themselves mentally and physically, and experience the joy of personal accomplishment

Plan of Action

We plan an annual benefit concert every spring to raise money for this organization. Around 14 musical and dance acts participate. We also create baskets for raffling, sell ad space in our program, and sell event tshirts.

Project Updates

We finally had our concert on April 9th!!! We hosted 10 acts and had a great turn out for our show. In the end we raised 3300 dollars to help the Crawford County Special Olympics!
