Our plan is to pull animals from death row at our local animal shelter and help pregnant dogs have the opportunity to raise their little family and ensure both mom and pups a bright future. Our rescue will be the second rescue in our area that will accept bully breeds. These dogs are widely overlooked in our area. They are so misunderstood.I really want to be an example to my community that theses breeds are not as bad as their reputations. If we were to receive this grant, we could build our kennels to house our dogs. The layout will include a small office, inside and outside concreted dog runs, and a large play area. We have a lot that has been donated. We need concrete to pour our slab. We have already cleared the land that was donated and poured our concrete footing for the indoor kennels and office. We need 176 more bags of 60lb concrete in order to pour our slab. We can purchase that for $522.72 . the $500 will go towards this. We can start making a difference a lot sooner as soon as we get this big step completed.
