Always Ready Kids Preparedness Promise

Always Ready Kids (ARK) helps youth and their families prepare for disasters. ARK also provides funding and supplies for disaster relief. We provide information from FEMA to help youth prepare emergency supply kits. The ARK Preparedness Promise gets people to do something to help prepare for disasters.

Members of ARK supply young people and their families with information on what to include in emergency supply kits. We then ask that the individual promise to prepare an emergency supply kit. In exchange for making the ARK Preparedness Promise to make an emergency supply kit, the recipient receives an ARK Preparedness Promise bracelet. Our goal is to have 20,000 people take the ARK Preparedness Promise.
the plan of action:
--Identify events, organizations and community groups that are interested in preparing for disasters.
--Provide FEMA-prepared information on what should be included in an emergency supply kit.
--Ask the recipients of the supply kit information
to make the ARK Preparedness Promise to prepare an emergency supply kit.
--Provide ARK Preparedness Promise bracelets to those who take the ARK Preparedness Promise.
