The Problem

Fighting to eradicate the deadly disease Diabetes thought prevention, education and research. 23 million people have diabetes and that number is growing at a rapid rate. 1 in 3 children born after 2000 are expected to get diabetes. Further research, prevention and education is needed and money is needed to do that.

Plan of Action

My family and friends have committed to spend Oct. 10th walking in our hometown. They are gathering pledges and we hope to raise at least $2000. We have $135 right now. I have sent 25 letters to area businesses asking for sponsorship. I have asked family, friends and people they know for sponsorship.
