A year ago I and a group of dedicated friends decided that we wanted to atart a community wellness clud at our school. After a long year of finding an advisor, going through alot of paperwork, and faceing pot hole after pot hole, our club, "The American Red Cross Club", was up and running, its first day was September 17,2007. We are a new club and are very excited, even though we have little money. We all loved that warm fuzzy feeling inside when we helped someone, so we decided to make our dream a reality. We are planning to donate cloths and toys to children centers, raising money for diseases, visiting the sick and elderly, and walk for sicknesses. I would like to encourage peolpe to think about starting a Red Cross group at your high school, because as they say,"the softest pillow is a good conscience. ( Do not forget to get permission from the "American Red Cross" organization before starting a club.
