I thought of the Idea, then sold the idea to afew friends who are stake holders now,we did a few fundraisings. at this point we did election for the group officials and recruited members form the community, we opened a bank account.We applied for a grant from the rotary international which went through succesfully, we started with the development of a spring in the villave which has been succsefull alonside two shallow wells and a bore hole.We have elready established a local water commitee to determine the locations andd capacity needs throught the communityand have agreement from tribal chiefs to secure and maintain the equipments. we have also trained pump repair technician. All equipments placed at the schools are secured and maintained by the schools.These projects have enabled the community to have access to this comodity and they are able to practice subsistance farming successfully.
