Well, I had to do a persuasive speech in my Speech class last year. I loved animals so I figured I would not only educate myself about animal testing, but also fight against it. Little did I know that was just the beginning of my stance. After that I was dedicated to help animals in some way, but I wasn't sure how especially considering I was just a 16 year old. Now, in my current year as a senior, we had to do a research paper on an issue related to what career we were pursuing. So I decided animal welfare considering I decided to be an Animal Control Officer. During my research I discovered a petition called "Animals Matter to Me" and so began the journey. I have been bringing my petition to school, work and everywhere to get some signatures. However, I only have 5 pages filled out, but I am determined to get more signatures.
