The Problem

The pollution in the Anocostia River in our community is immense, which is destroying water life, creating a looming stench, and overall making the river itself unappealing.

Plan of Action

At 8:30 am, members went to one of the river clean-up locations and participated by picking up all sorts of trash in and around the river. We were amazed to find so many large objects, like tires and bicycles!
